Trump set to attend Yankees game on 9/11 anniversary: sources

President Trump will be heading to The Bronx to take in a Yankees game on the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks, sources familiar with the arrangements exclusively told The Post.

Vice President JD Vance will represent the administration at a commemoration ceremony at Ground Zero in Lower Manhattan, with Trump scheduled to attend a memorial event at the Pentagon in northern Virginia, the sources said.

Later in the day, Trump will travel to the city of his birth and attend the 7:05 p.m. matchup between the Yankees and Detroit Tigers, in a meeting of two of the top teams in the American League.

The sources cautioned that the plans were tentative and that Trump, 79, could still change his mind.

Trump, an avid golfer, has popped up at several sporting events during his time in the White House, and most recently said he would attend the Ryder Cup golf tournament later this month.

In February, he became the first sitting president to attend the Super Bowl in New Orleans for a showdown between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs.

The following week, he showed up at the Daytona 500, and even did a lap around the oval in his limousine, “The Beast.”

The president also teed up at the Saudi-backed LIV Golf Tournament in April, and attended the NCAA wrestling championships in Philadelphia in March.

Trump has been a presence at UFC fights, too, including a bout in Newark in June and an MMA match in Miami in April — and even announced plans to host the UFC at the White House.

The event is expected to draw 25,000 spectators to the executive mansion next year to mark the nation’s 250th anniversary.

Trump attended the annual Ground Zero ceremony commemorating the 9/11 attacks last year with then-President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris — just two months before he swept into office for his second term.

The White House did not immediately comment on the record.
