Trump rages against ‘weaklings’ and ‘past supporters’ buying into ‘Epstein hoax’

President Trump lashed out Wednesday at “weaklings” and “past supporters” in his base who he said were buying in to the “Jeffrey Epstein Hoax,” raging that he doesn’t even “want their support anymore.”

“Unlike Republicans, they [Democrats] stick together like glue. Their new SCAM is what we will forever call the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax, and my PAST supporters have bought into this ‘bulls—,’ hook, line, and sinker,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“Let these weaklings continue forward and do the Democrats[‘] work, don’t even think about talking of our incredible and unprecedented success, because I don’t want their support anymore! Thank you for your attention to this matter. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

The Justice Department and FBI concluded in a memo made public last week that Epstein, 66, killed himself in his Manhattan jail cell in August 2019 — and did not keep a list of wealthy and powerful “clients” to whom he trafficked underage teens.

That conclusion sparked a storm of backlash from top MAGA personalities, who suspected that the Trump administration wasn’t being fully upfront about Epstein, despite the 47th president’s promise on the campaign trail to release the files on the convicted pedophile.

While the feds say that there is no evidence Epstein had a “client list,’ contrary to years-long speculation, the sex predator’s ex-attorney Alan Dershowitz has claimed that there is an FBI affidavit about his late client’s connections that could be made public. Dershowitz has also blamed courts for blocking the release of those files despite Epstein’s demise.

Most of the MAGA ire has been directed at US Attorney General Pam Bondi, whom Trump has repeatedly defended.

“The Radical Left Democrats have hit pay dirt, again! Just like with the FAKE and fully discredited Steele Dossier, the lying 51 ‘Intelligence’ Agents, the Laptop from Hell, which the Dems swore had come from Russia (No, it came from Hunter Biden’s bathroom!),” Trump further raged Wednesday.

“These Scams and Hoaxes are all the Democrats are good at – It’s all they have – They are no good at governing, no good at policy, and no good at picking winning candidates.”

On Tuesday, Trump grumbled to reporters that “I don’t understand what the interest or what the fascination” with Epstein is among his base. Last week, he bristled at questions from The Post about Epstein during a cabinet meeting.

“They haven’t learned their lesson, and probably never will, even after being conned by the Lunatic Left for 8 long years,” Trump added on Truth Social Wednesday.

“I have had more success in 6 months than perhaps any President in our Country’s history, and all these people want to talk about, with strong prodding by the Fake News and the success starved Dems, is the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax.”

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) appeared to split with Trump Tuesday and publicly backed the release of more Epstein documents.

Democrats, led by House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), have sought to exploit the friction between Trump and part of his base by publicly pushing for the release of more government documents on Epstein.
