Trump defiantly addresses health speculation with Truth Social response

President Trump boasted Sunday that he has “never felt better” after days of online speculation about his health – and took the opportunity to boost a newly crime-free Washington, DC.

Trump bounced back onto Truth Social after a relatively quiet weekend while he was golfing at his resort in Virginia.

“NEVER FELT BETTER IN MY LIFE. Also, DC IS A CRIME FREE ZONE!” Trump wrote after the president took control of the DC Metropolitan Police Department.

Social media lit up with bizarre theories and morbid speculation about the president’s health days after several days without public events from the president.

The wild theories ran rampant after the White House released a blank schedule of events for the president on Friday – but all haters’ hopes were quickly dashed once the president was seen on Saturday leaving for a round of golf alongside his granddaughter, Kai Trump.

The #TrumpIsDead was trending through Saturday on X.

Even in his absence, the crime crackdown in DC pressed on. Violent crime sank 45% lower compared to the same time last year. Crime overall dropped 15% lower as even Democrat DC Mayor Muriel Bowser admitted to the apparent improvement in her city.

“We greatly appreciate the surge of officers that enhance what MPD has been able to do in this city,” she said at a press conference last Wednesday.

Trump followed up his update with a series of early Labor Day celebrations in which he touted the strength of the US economy.
