Tonight, while getting gas, I noticed a mom and her son at the next pump. The boy, maybe 10 years old, had just gone inside to prepay. When I came back to my car, I saw him setting the nozzle and locking it so he could wait inside. His mom looked over at me, said something to him, and then he came around to my side.
“Ma’am, it’s too cold let me pump your gas for you,” he said.
It was such a small gesture, but it was the sweetest thing and absolutely made my night.
