Tonight Noah is going to his first high school homecoming dance (and after party!) I care about him so much and sometimes worry about how other kids are going to treat him. On the way to drop him off I held his little hand and prayed for him and his time tonight. Watching your kids grow up can be hard to a parent but all you can do is teach them to do right and ask God to handle the rest. As I walked Noah to his huge school packed with kids, wondering what Noah was going to do tonight and if he’d “fit in” his friend of many years, Stella, aaw him almost the second he walked in, had a huge smile on her face, screamed “Noah!!!” and ran to greet him. I’m almost tearning up just typing this. I’m truly thankful to God that he has placed Stella in Noah’s life to be such a loving and encouraging friend. When I think about Stella’s friendship to Noah I think about Proverb 18:24 “Friends come and friends go, but a true friend sticks by you like family.” Have fun tonight Noah! We love you and are proud of you!
