Tonight at the Publix in Ormond Towne Square, I witnessed a beautiful act of kindness from one of their employees.
An elderly man was struggling to bend down and tie his shoe. Without hesitation, Gage, a Publix employee, knelt down—not only tying the shoe the man was struggling with, but the other one as well. All with a smile.
I managed to snap a quick photo on my phone, and later confirmed his name with his manager.
It was such a simple gesture, but one that showed compassion, respect, and genuine care. Gage deserves to be recognized for going above and beyond. ❤️
