This is my 7 year old son Ade, and we live in South Carolina. Every single day he wears his brand new Seahawks hat to school, and every single day he comes home telling me how many kids booed him for it.
But here is the part that makes me so proud. He is getting braver. Just yesterday he told another kid, “I don’t care if you like them or not. I do.”
When I asked him why he likes the Seahawks so much, his answer melted my heart. He said it is because they look like cool guys, because his uncles and grandpa cheer for them, and because Seattle seems like a nice place even though he has never been there.
I told him I would post his picture here and ask Seahawks fans everywhere to show him he is not alone. He thought it would be awesome if just ten people liked it.
