The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys has a new relationship alert as one star hard launches a new romance while throwing shade at their ex. Relationship turmoil has been at the center of The McBee Dynasty along with all the McBee Farm & Cattle Co. business drama and scandal.
Patriarch Steve McBee Sr. is awaiting a possible 30-year sentence for crop insurance fraud, and is absent from McBee Dynasty season 2. In his absence, however, his sons, Steven Jr, Jesse, and Cole, have been filling in, and they have no shortage of drama.
While Cole can’t stop drinking and acting up while his girlfriend of seven years is pregnant, Jesse is forcing his soon-to-be wife to make a location and lifestyle sacrifice for him. Steven Jr. has carried on an on-and off-again relationship with Calah Jackson, who was his winner when he appeared on Joe Millionaire.
Steven and his mom had been financially supporting her even though she could never get along with his family and was vocal about her disdain for the McBees. Moreover, Steven thought Calah had a drinking problem, and Steve McBee Sr. said in season 1 that she was “nothing but red flags.”
In any case, there is no more mystery about Steven Jr. and Calah. They are over with, as evidenced by Steven Jr.’s new love interest, a singer named Sadie Bass, hard launching him on Instagram. Sadie shared a music video clip in which she was caressing Steven Jr. while she sang.
In the caption, Sadie, with the apparent consent of Steven, threw shade at Calah while showcasing their happiness.
Over the video, a caption read, “he needs a girl who can calm the storm—not add to it.”

Steven Jr.’s hard launch comes while the show is still airing and Calah is still relevant to the storylines. While it wasn’t Steven sharing the Instagram post directly, but rather Sadie, it takes a little heat off Steven, but he had to have been complicit in the post and video’s purpose. Steven’s new girlfriend is marking her territory publicly and shoving her and Steven’s happiness in Calah’s face as the on-screen drama plays out between Steven and Calah. The move says a lot about Sadie’s character, and that she isn’t afraid to fire shots and start potential drama.
Since their relationship is public now, Sadie’s post and Steven going along with it could mean she may be part of The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys season 3, but there is still a lot to unravel in season 2.
