When Christine left, she became an unlikely feminist icon. Instead of languishing in a loveless and sexless union, she took control, carving out her own destiny. David loves Christine just the way she is. She doesn’t have to change to win his approval. This is the hallmark of a successful relationship – one that makes both people happy. Christine loves David and doesn’t focus on his flaws – she is grateful for him. Hopefully, the compatible duo will stay together forever.

However, she’s now rediscovering her love of cooking, and feels that the secret of reigniting her interest is just “slowing down.” Maybe her life is less hectic now – cooking can be a meditative experience instead of a “chore.”
As Christine cooks in the clip above, she doesn’t bother with makeup, and why should she? What’s inspiring about this is how relatable it is. A lot of influencers are done up at all times, trying to create some kind of perfect facade. It looks like Christine just gets up, puts on something casual, and goes about her business.

Of course, she looks great anyway, because glamour is not required. When she wants to, she can put on something fancier, and some makeup, and look amazing. However, she’s an attractive woman either way.
Her down-to-earth-attitude, and the way that she values herself, are endearing. Her self-esteem is good – she is comfortable with her looks, her life, and the people around her. For Sister Wives‘ Christine Brown, all of this is a victory.
