Shania Muhammad grew up in a home where education has always been a solid foundation. Her older sister graduated high school with a 4.0 GPA, and her older brother graduated from the number one private school in Oklahoma. They were her role models.

In seventh grade, Shania started with ACT prep. She enrolled at the University of Oklahoma at the age of 13, becoming their youngest student. When she graduated from university at 15, a school owner reached out to her and offered her a teaching job.

However, she decided to wait until she was 16 to accept, so she could obtain a driver’s license and drive herself to work.

Shania, 17, now teaches third grade students. According to her, they accept her as an adult as they see her drive and talk to the staff every day.

“I want to show people that you don’t have to wait on nothing,” she shared.
