Johnson (D-TX) tells News Nation she and her constituents don’t like gerrymandering. “I’m not afraid to compete on fair ideas or fail lines. It’s the Republicans that are. Gerrymandering happens in every state, but the states that actually do independent commissions are often Democratic, and the Democrats, both nationally and on the state side, have offered these policies as actual law. Republicans won’t vote for it. Please don’t say it’s both sides.”
