Proud mom moment! 💕
Tonight while working, my son Matthew met a homeless man who walked in with only 50 cents. He asked if there was anything on the menu he could buy. Matthew gently asked what he would order if he could, and the man replied, “Anything to ease my hunger pains.”
So Matthew rang him up for a full, hearty meal and quietly paid for it with his own debit card. He handed the man the receipt and told him to sit down and enjoy.
That alone would have been enough to make me proud—but the story didn’t end there. A woman nearby witnessed his kindness. She not only wrote to the company praising him as an employee, but also surprised Matthew with a very generous tip.
My heart is so full. I’m beyond proud of my big-hearted son and grateful to know I had a part in raising such a kind young man. ❤️🙏🏻
