“Looking back at photos from before and after sobriety feels almost unreal—like that chapter of my life happened to someone else. On the surface, I looked composed, like I had it all figured out. But beneath the smile, I was barely holding it together.

My heart aches for the version of me back then. If I could reach out to her, I’d wrap her in a hug and remind her she’s worthy of healing. But the truth is, I had to walk through the hard parts. I had to keep spiraling, keep falling short, until I finally reached the moment where I was ready to change—for good.

That moment came in detox. Not in treatment. Not after hitting “rock bottom” with only $200 in my account. The turning point was the quiet, powerful decision I made in my heart that I was done.

And I want you to know that you can get there too.

Sobriety has been a journey of rediscovery—of learning who I truly am, what brings me joy, and what I want from life. The things that make me different? They’re the very things that make me shine. I wasn’t meant to blend in—and neither were you.

Please remember this:

✨ You are not broken.
✨ You are not alone.
✨ You can have a beautiful, full life without alcohol.
✨ You will find connection and meaning.
✨ You do have what it takes.
✨ You can heal.
✨ You will get through this.

I believe in you. Let’s keep climbing. 💛”
