News, Release Date, Cast, Trailer & Everything We Know

TLC announced a new series airing soon called Virgins, and here’s everything we know. The network is known for docuseries shows and their zeitgeisty concepts. Their shows often give a human face to health and social issues, such as weight loss and immigration.

Virgins will join hit shows like 90 Day Fiancé and 1000-lb Sisters. This isn’t their first foray into this topic. In 2011, the network aired a show called Virgin Diaries, although it only ran for one season. What do we know about the new show Virgins?

Virgins Release Date

When And Where Can Fans Watch Virgins?

Virgins will premiere on Monday, June 9, 2025, at 9 p.m. EDT. Viewers can watch the show on TLC, and there is currently no news on whether the show will air on a streaming service such as TLC Go or Discovery Plus. Most likely, the series will air the next day on one or both of those streaming services for fans who miss the show when it first airs.

Virgins News And Premise

What Is Virgins About?

Virgins follows four people, such as Alex Stunz, in their 30s and 40s, who are looking for love and closeness. While that story may seem familiar and relatable, these cast members have an additional hurdle to jump; none of them has experienced sexual intimacy. Along the way, viewers will watch the cast come into their own and learn more about themselves. The official logline, shared with People, reads as follows:

“After years of missed connections and dating horror stories, these late bloomers are done playing it safe. They’re stepping outside their comfort zones and taking big swings to finally go all the way, emotionally and physically.”

Virgins isn’t TLC’s first new show of 2025. The network has already aired many new shows, including Baylen Out Loud and The Baldwins, among others. However, Virgins may be the most shocking show they’ve aired this year.

Virgins Trailer

The Virgins Trailer Is Full Of Heart

The Virgins trailer shows that while the title and premise may feel scandalous, the actual show will be a sweet journey of self-discovery for the four main cast members. Based on the trailer, the cast members are clearly very open and vulnerable with the audience. This is sure to make for an entertaining and relatable show.

Sonali Chandra teases a possible medical reason why she’s still a virgin, saying, “I’m not sure I can even have sex,” right before a scene of her at a doctor’s office. Rhasha Newkirk goes on a date with a man who is interested in her regardless of her lack of sexual history, and Alex admits he hasn’t been on a date in about ten years. The show will also feature conflicts with the main cast’s friends and families regarding the sensitive topic.

Virgins Cast

Virgins will feature the stories of Alex, Rhasha, Sonali, and Deanne Black. Deanne is 35 years old and lives in Los Angeles, California. She’s very picky, which is likely why she’s never had a boyfriend. Then there’s Sonali, a 37-year-old who lives in Hollywood, California. Sonali is afraid of intimacy, possibly due to her conservative upbringing. Sonali has never experienced the type of pleasure she’s heard about, and she’s barely ever dated.

Rhasha’s story is probably the most surprising of the bunch.

According to the trailer, Rhasha was previously married but never got the intimacy she craved from her ex. Rhasha is a 42-year-old who lives in Jacksonville, Florida, and recently went through a major weight-loss transformation. On the show, viewers will watch Rhasha explore her interests in role-play and BDSM.

Alex is the only man in the main cast. He’s 34 years old and lives in Reading, Pennsylvania, in his parents’ attic. His sisters will be a big part of Alex’s journey on Virgins as they help him gain independence and get back into the dating game.

Virgins premieres on Monday, June 9, 2025, at 9 p.m. EDT on TLC.
