“Most days, I eat with one hand while holding my baby in the other. But today was different.
Our waitress, Charmin, at Cracker Barrel in Lake City, FL, offered to hold my baby so I could actually enjoy my meal. And she didn’t just stand there—she continued serving other tables, walking around with my little one in her arms, checking on guests, and spreading smiles.
This wasn’t during a slow moment either—it was the middle of a busy lunch rush! Everyone around us loved it. It was one of the sweetest acts of kindness I’ve experienced, and a true reminder that hospitality is still very much alive.
Charmin, you made my whole day. ❤️ After driving through seven states on our way to Disney, cooped up in the car, this was our first real sit-down meal. You didn’t know that—but you gave us such a warm, genuine welcome anyway.
Thank you so much, and God bless you. (And I told her it’s not my fault if she goes viral—because she truly deserves to!)” ✨
