Meet Jimmy Finch from Clarksville, Tennessee, a man with a heart of gold. He drove his personal BBQ rig two hours to the devastated town of Mayfield, Kentucky, loaded with as many hamburgers, hot dogs, sausages, soy patties, eggs, and bread as he could carry. Setting up right in the heart of Mayfield, he immediately began cooking and feeding those who had lost everything.
He didn’t ask about political affiliations or vaccination status; he simply cooked for anyone in need. Despite clearly not being a wealthy man—as evidenced by his truck, which bears a small magnetic sign for “lawn care,” his actual trade—his generosity shines brightly. He’s planning to return to feed even more people tomorrow. This ordinary, yet extraordinarily caring, man’s actions serve as a powerful example, hopefully inspiring wealthier individuals to step up and contribute as he has.
