Huda Mustafa has been the most hypocritical cast member on Love Island USA season 7, and her recent actions have not been doing her any favors. Huda has caused a lot of controversy on Love Island USA season 7. Despite being on a show about exploring multiple connections, Huda was locked in with Jeremiah Brown from day one.
Huda and Jeremiah were uninterested in exploring their fellow Love Island USA season 7 cast members, preferring to connect with each other. Huda also made it clear to any new bombshells that she and Jeremiah were not to be messed with. If anyone wanted to explore a connection with Jeremiah, Huda took it as a personal attack.
Huda and Jeremiah’s relationship burned bright and fast. Ultimately, the two were simply incompatible. For example, Huda asked Jeremiah if he would share his phone location with her in the real world. He said no, but she insisted because she said she has trust issues.
Their incompatibility wasn’t what tore them apart, though. America stepped in with a vote to pair Jeremiah with a new bombshell, Iris Kendall. This caused Huda to fully crash out and ended her relationship with Jeremiah for good.
Since Jeremiah’s elimination, Huda has tried to expand her horizons on Love Island USA season 7. Unfortunately, she’s been doing the same things she got mad at other women for doing with Jeremiah. Huda has been hypocritical, and it’s only getting worse as the season goes on.
Huda Expects Total Loyalty
Does She Give The Same?
Despite the premise of Love Island USA, Huda expected her fellow female cast members to leave Jeremiah alone, thus expressing their loyalty to her as a friend and respect for her relationship. She frequently thanked the other women for leaving Jeremiah alone during challenges. She also got visibly upset when new bombshells explored Jeremiah, even though they didn’t know about his relationship with Huda.
When Iris was sent on a date with Jeremiah after being coupled up due to an audience vote, Huda was angry, even though neither Iris nor Jeremiah wanted to be in that situation.
Huda complained to the other women that Iris wasn’t a “girl’s girl,” essentially blaming Iris for America’s decision and the format of Love Island USA. Iris barely knew Huda, so she didn’t owe her anything. Plus, Iris definitely didn’t choose to couple up with Jeremiah. Huda’s expectations of the other women were far too high.
Huda’s Not A Girl’s Girl
She Doesn’t Live Up To Her Own Standards
Huda’s unkind words towards Iris make even less sense when considering she doesn’t treat the other women the way she expects to be treated. Huda wanted Jeremiah to be off limits to the other women, but she’s had no issue pulling men for chats ever since Jeremiah was sent home. All of those men already had strong connections.
Huda even had the audacity to pull Love Island USA‘s Pepe Garcia for a chat in front of Hannah Fields, the woman he was coupled up with and with whom he had a strong connection. Hannah and Huda were friends, so Huda’s actions were even more of a betrayal. Why was it okay for her to play the game of Love Island USA, but not the other women?
Things took a turn for the worse during the heart rate challenge, when the whole villa accused Huda of taking the challenge too far with Ace Greene, the man coupled up with Chelley Bissainthe. Huda claimed Chelley was one of her best friends, yet used the excuse of the challenge to sensually touch Chelley’s man. Huda isn’t the great friend she thinks she is.
Can Huda Turn Things Around On Love Island USA?
She May Not Have Enough Time
The weeks are dwindling on Love Island USA season 7, and the fitness trainer may not be able to repair the relationships she’s damaged. Huda got an early villain edit, but her actions lately have justified that moniker. Without any strong connections and no real friendships left, Huda may be walking out of the Love Island USA villa before the finale.
Love Island USA airs new episodes on Peacock at 9 p.m. EDT daily, except Wednesdays.
