Chris Hemsworth‘s show is quickly becoming a streaming hit, marking a fresh turn for an actor who hasn’t had a major presence on the small screen. Early in his career, the Thor star’s list of credits included stints on notable dramas. He appeared in an episode of the popular Australian soap opera Neighbors, followed by a longer run as Home & Away‘s Kim Hyde.
But outside of guest runs and a season of the Australian version of Dancing with the Stars, finishing fifth, Hemsworth has been a film fixture since breaking out as the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s God of Thunder. His recent forays into television have, for the most part, consisted of reprising Thor in Marvel’s animated offerings, in addition to a reality series that’s back for season 2.
