Life is far too short to always say no. Last year, my daughter asked me if she could dye her hair pink, and I said no.
Just a few days later, while at camp, there was an accident during a fire demonstration.
She was badly burned 70% of her body and we spent months in the hospital, not knowing if she would survive.
So this year, when she asked again if she could have pink hair, my answer was yes. That experience changed me.
It reminded me that we never know how much time we have with the people we love.
Say yes more often, even if it seems silly to others.
Who cares if your child has pink hair?
What matters is the joy in their smile. 😍🤓
