Late last night, Myles was so excited about Twin Day at school. He told me over and over that he just had to match with a boy in his class—because they “look exactly the same.” Same eyes, same hair, he insisted. He was completely sure they were identical.
So after the kids went to bed, I ran to Walmart at 9 p.m. to find matching outfits.
Today, their teacher sent me this picture… and my heart just melted.
Looking at them, it’s clear they’re two very different children. But to Myles, none of that mattered. He only saw his friend, his twin.
Wouldn’t the world be such a better place if we could all see each other the way 5-year-olds do? ♥️
