Keanu Soto Finally Chooses A Side As HOH

Big Brother 27’s newest Head Of Household has finally been working through the mist that’s been cast over his game for the majority of the season, and in doing so, seems to have picked a side after weeks of flip-flopping. Throughout Big Brother 27, the alliances in the game have shifted so consistently that it’s been tough to keep track of who’s with who.

While there have been some instances where the houseguests all seem to be aligned with one another, none of the alliances in the game seem like they’re the right fit. The houseguests of Big Brother 27 have all been playing their games based in fear, a lot of the time, and don’t appear to have loyalty to their fellow players.

Even as the season continues on, it’s clear that some houseguests are finding each other more amenable to making long-term deals that others. Rachel Reilly, who’s returning for her third season of Big Brother this year, has been one of the only loyal houseguests in the game. Thankfully, one of her allies appears to finally be moving in the direction of offering allegiance.

Keanu Soto Won The Most Recent HOH & Protected Rachel Reilly

Although Keanu spent weeks moving through the game and vacillating between being a good ally to Rachel and reporting every conversation he had with her back to Vince Panaro, her least trusted fellow houseguest, his recent HOH win gave him the chance to win back her trust. When Rachel was HOH, she kept Keanu safe, and he chose to return the favor.

While Rachel was concerned that upon Keanu’s HOH win, she’d be going up on the block, Keanu felt horribly for the way he treated his ally throughout the last few weeks of the game. Allowing Vince to poison the well to Keanu only to then stab him in the back repeatedly, Keanu chose to finally let Rachel know that he was with her in the game.

Despite Aligning With Vince Originally, Keanu Finally Sees His Game

Although Keanu’s spent the majority of Big Brother 27 aligned with Vince, it’s clear that he finally sees how much he’s been played by the two-time HOH. Vince, who won the season’s first Head Of Household title and then won again in week 7, has struggled to maintain loyalty to the majority of his allies, as he’s aligned with most of the house.

Throughout the last few weeks, Keanu has put an immense amount of trust in Vince, making it clear that he’s fallen for a lot of the gameplay Vince has shown him. Even after consistently lying to Keanu and going against him in votes, Keanu spent weeks falling for Vince’s charm, convinced he’s an ally. Putting him on the block, however, proves Keanu’s shifting.

While the change may not be in full, it’s clear that Keanu is prioritizing his alliance with Rachel more than he has in the last few weeks. Putting Vince in danger of leaving the Big Brother house right before jury is a bold move, and seeing him go would be a fascinating shift in the game. Keanu seems to be choosing Rachel’s side in a pivotal moment.

Big Brother airs Sundays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS.
