“I just got pulled over tonight because my headlight was out.
I told Officer Adrian McKinney that I actually had the replacement bulb in my car — I just couldn’t find anyone to help me get the old one out.
He asked me to grab the bulb, then told me to pop my hood.
For the next 15–20 minutes, he wrestled with that headlight in the dark, muggy heat — and somehow got it fixed!
He ended up burning his fingers in the process, but never once complained.
He didn’t have to do that. He could’ve written me a ticket and moved on.
But instead, he lived up to what “protect and serve” truly means.
Thank you, Officer McKinney — for choosing kindness over convenience, and for reminding us that compassion still exists in this world.” 💙🚓
