I found a sewing machine listed for sale on Marketplace from someone local. When I pulled up to the house this morning, I noticed a picture frame sitting on the curb with a pile of items marked “free.”
I let the seller know I was outside, and as we talked, he mentioned the sewing machine had belonged to his grandmother, but he just didn’t have space for it anymore. As I was heading back to my car, I pointed to the photo on the curb and asked who the couple was. He told me they were his grandparents.
My eyes lit up, and I asked, “Was that her sewing machine?” He smiled and said yes.
So now, Anne and Harry’s sewing machine, and their wedding photo, live with me. ❤️
