Delino Barash was shopping for a new mattress when an elderly woman approached him. She mentioned seeing him drive a Corvette and asked if he would take her 92-year-old husband for a ride in it.

Delino agreed without hesitation. The car held special meaning for him as he had inherited it from his brother Donavan, who had passed away in 2024.

“I agreed to take her husband for a ride because I know my brother would have done the exact same thing,” Delino explained.

During their four-mile journey, the elderly man was overcome with emotion. “I can’t believe this is real,” he repeated. “Oh my God, this is my dream car.”

When they returned, the man’s wife hugged Delino and insisted on giving him $10 for gas despite the young man’s refusal.
