Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Stars Reveal What They Really Think Of Chandi Dayle Breaking Major Rule

The cast of America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders is finally speaking out following Chandi Dayle’s reported breach of team rules. A longtime DCC veteran, Chandi joined the squad in 2019 and was featured prominently in America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders season 2 as she earned a spot on the 2024–2025 team and rose to the role of first-group leader. She also bravely shared her experience of a past abusive relationship. Following a team retreat to the Bahamas, Chandi took a leave of absence after allegedly inviting an unknown individual into her room and left some teammates feeling unsafe.

Now, the America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders stars are revealing where they stand with Chandi.

In an interview with People, Jada McLean said, “There are things that go on in any workplace. Situations come up, and I think the biggest thing is how you handle it.” She added that she thinks they did their best as a team to handle the situation professionally while they still tried to support Chandi. Jada mentioned that they were not going to turn their back on Chandi since, at the end of the day, they’re “teammates” and “sisters.”

“As a team, I think we just kind of rallied together and kept to the job and did our best to keep things moving, because at the end of the day, we still had a job to get done and that was our goal.”

Armani Latimer claimed the team is a close unit with ample access to mental health resources. According to Armani, the team members see each other every single day, “pretty much.” She believes there is never going to be a day when they won’t notice when someone comes in, and they “seem a little off.” Armani confessed during the interview that the team would pull the person aside to have a chat with them and would ask them things like, “Hey, what’s going on today? Anything you need to talk about?” Armani knows they’re “pretty good” at that.

What Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Supporting Chandi Means

Why Chandi Chose To Leave The NFL After Six Seasons

Chandi danced for six seasons and the 2024-25 NFL season became her last. The Netflix show explained her reason for retiring. Breaking the protocol by disclosing the team’s location to an unknown person sealed her fate as she retired from the team. Chandi had accused an ex-boyfriend of allegedly being emotionally and physically abusive on multiple occasions. She claimed that things got progressively worse before they broke up. She also accused him of allegedly stalking her current boyfriend and allegedly threatening his life. However, Chandi was unable to obtain protection due to lack of evidence.

Chandi later explained that the person she invited was someone she had been confiding in about her personal struggles. She felt overwhelmed and believed she had no one else to turn to at the time. However, her teammates have since shared that they were always available if she needed someone to talk to. Chandi acknowledged it was the wrong time and place to open up to a stranger. While the cheerleaders handled the situation professionally, she admitted she should have placed more trust in her team instead of seeking comfort outside the group.
