Adrienne and Aaron’s little boy was diagnosed with autism at just 14 months. He didn’t speak until he was 4. He couldn’t even get through an IQ test until he was 8. He battled encopresis until 12. On top of that came motor delays, dyslexia, dysgraphia, ADHD, auditory processing disorder, and language deficits.
The odds were stacked high against him.
But this same boy is now graduating near the very top of his class. He’s captain of the varsity swim team. He’s been recruited by colleges for his swimming. He’s taking calculus through a university.
And last night, he was accepted into his number one choice of university.
What a journey. What a victory. What a reason to smile.
