My husband is Bulgarian and we were watching the latest HEA episode. He said Georgi’s mom didn’t actually ask Darcy why her legs were bare. She was asking her why was she barefoot. Traditionally, in Bulgarian households, it’s common to wear slippers inside. She was definitely referring to that.
They made it seem like she was talking about the way she was dressed. Georgi then translated it to Darcy saying his mom asked why she was naked. I thought it was funny how they messed up the translation to play into the narrative about how she dresses.
