Rachel Reilly On Her Final 2 & Controversial Exit

Big Brother 27’s first juror, Rachel Reilly, lost her life in the game during an unprecedented twist, and reflected on her time in the game and shared whether or not this controversial houseguest was her true final 2. While Rachel was a huge presence in the Big Brother 27 game, her gameplay often left her feeling isolated in her decision-making.

Rachel, who won Big Brother 13 in 2011 and competed on Big Brother 12 in 2010, has spent the last fifteen years building her reality TV brand and hoping to come back for another season of the series that got her into the world. As an avid Big Brother fan and a member of the show’s large alumni community, Rachel’s been ready for another shot.

Sadly, despite never touching the nomination block during her time on the show, Rachel was taken out by a new twist that’s received its fair share of backlash from Big Brother fans and alumni alike. Taking a page from Reindeer Games, The White Locust twist saw Rachel’s demise. From her time in the BB jury house, Rachel revealed more about her frenemies final 2 with Keanu Soto.

Rachel’s Loyalty To Keanu Soto & The Frenemies Alliance Was Waning In The Game

Although Rachel had spent weeks investing her time and energy into Keanu’s gameplay, she was struggling with the way he was going about having power on Big Brother. During Keanu’s HOH reign, he made it clear that he was playing a very different game than his mentor, and despite their frenemies alliance, he lost Rachel’s trust in the game along the way.

Screen Rant: One of your closest relationships in the game was with Keanu. But the things between the frenemies were very up and down. Would you have actually wanted to sit next to him in the final two?

Rachel Reilly: Keanu and I had a very interesting, to say the least, relationship in the game. I would have loved to work with him. And there was a point in the game where I fully did trust him. And I was really starting to want to work with him and want to just like, completely, you know, take him to final two or just completely, like, go in the direction of my game with him. But he then betrayed me and kind of backstabbed me when he wanted to get me evicted and out of the house. And once that happened, I just don’t think that I was ever going to be able to trust him again.

As well as, you know, during his HOH, I felt that he made some really bad decisions. And I just don’t think that he, I think he was just very messy as a game player. And I didn’t, I would not have kept him in this game much longer. So to be completely honest, if I was HOH this week, or in the future weeks, I would have gotten rid of him as soon as I could, I would have had to. He was so good at the competitions. And he was kind of all over the place.

I just didn’t trust him anymore. So I think that I would have had to work against him. And there was no path forward that I saw with he and I working together, moving forward.

And I would have not sat next to him in the final two for numerous reasons. But the number one reason is, is like, I don’t know that with his story, I wouldn’t want to have to compete against him for a final two vote.

While Keanu and Rachel’s personal relationship seems to be one of her favorite from the season, their games couldn’t have been more different by the end of the season. Though Rachel shared she wouldn’t have been interested in keeping Keanu in the game, things weren’t able to progress. Sadly, Rachel’s chance to make the final two with her Big Brother frenemy was dashed.

Big Brother airs Sundays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS.
