At nearly 65, many thought my best flying days were behind me. After 36 years as an airline pilot, people said it was “too late” to learn something new. But instead of slowing down, I took on one of the hardest challenges in aviation—training to fly the Airbus A350. ✈️

They said the manual was too big. The systems too complex. The learning curve too steep for my age. But step by step, simulator by simulator, page by page—I proved them wrong. Not only did I pass, I thrived.

This isn’t just a story about airplanes—it’s about resilience, discipline, and refusing to let age define your limits.
