Celebrity Jeopardy was renewed for season 4, and here’s everything we know. Celebrity Jeopardy has taken many forms over the years. In 1997, a version of the show called Power Players Week aired and featured journalists and politicians. Then, in 2009, the Million Dollar Celebrity Invitational, hosted by Alex Trebek, allowed celebrities to play for a charity of their choosing.
Today, Celebrity Jeopardy is a staple of ABC’s programming, usually airing alongside Celebrity Wheel of Fortune. While the questions are significantly easier than regular Jeopardy, the star-studded program provides a lot of entertainment while also supporting various charities. Fans can officially get excited for another season of Celebrity Jeopardy, but what else do we know about season 4?

Celebrity Jeopardy Is Returning
Celebrity Jeopardy will return for another season, which will air on ABC. Currently, we don’t know the exact air date, but we can make an informed guess based on previous seasons. Celebrity Jeopardy season 1 began airing in September 2022, and season 2 began airing one year later in September 2023. Season 3, however, took longer, with the first episode airing in January.
Most likely, fans can expect Celebrity Jeopardy season 4 to air in early 2026.
Celebrity Jeopardy Season 4 Host
Will Ken Jennings Reprise His Role?
No official announcement has been made regarding the host of Celebrity Jeopardy season 4. That being said, Ken Jennings will most likely be hosting the series in addition to hosting the other versions of Jeopardy. Ken took over as host of Celebrity Jeopardy starting with season 2 after Mayim Bialik turned down the gig due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes happening at the time. Ultimately, Mayim was let go from the Jeopardy franchise, and Ken became the sole host.
Although Ken will probably reprise his role as Celebrity Jeopardy host, other celebrities have thrown their hats into the ring. Celebrity Jeopardy season 3 winner W. Kamau Bell suggested the host should be a winner of the show. After all, Ken got his hosting gig for being one of the greatest Jeopardy players of all time. It only makes sense for the celebrity seasons to be hosted by a winner as well. Since there have only been three seasons of Celebrity Jeopardy, that would leave only W. Kamau Bell, Ike Barinholtz, or Lisa Ann Walter as potential hosts.

Celebrity Jeopardy Is Different From Classic Jeopardy
There are two main differences between Jeopardy and Celebrity Jeopardy. The first is, obviously, the tournament-style. As Celebrity Jeopardy has a limited run, winning players only return for the semifinal and final rounds instead of returning every episode until they lose.
The second difference is that Celebrity Jeopardy is made up of three rounds rather than two. Round one starts with clues valued between $100 and $500, round two doubles that, and round three triples round one. As fans are well aware, regular Jeopardy starts with $200 clues and doubles that for double jeopardy.
Celebrity Jeopardy Season 4 Cast
Who Will Be Competing For One Million Dollars?
As of May 13, cast members for Celebrity Jeopardy season 4 haven’t been announced. Most likely, no announcement will be made until the season’s trailer is released. That being said, audiences can expect A-list stars from all sides of fame.
Previous seasons of Celebrity Jeopardy have included actors like Ike, Max Greenfield, Jackie Tohn, Patton Oswalt, and others. The show has also featured celebrities in sports broadcasting, such as Peter Schrager and Katie Nolan. They’ve even had athletes like Candace Parker and Shane Battier. Any celebrity who wants to raise money for charity is eligible to play.
It’s not likely that we’ll see any returning faces on Celebrity Jeopardy season 4, although it’s not impossible. Ike returned to the Jeopardy stage after winning Celebrity Jeopardy season 1 to compete in the Tournament of Champions, becoming the first Celebrity Jeopardy contestant to enter the tournament. He made it to the semifinals but lost to Ben Chan. No matter who appears on Celebrity Jeopardy season 4, it’s guaranteed to be an entertaining show.
Celebrity Jeopardy season 3 is available to stream on Hulu.
