A few days ago, I was standing outside this very restaurant with an empty hand, asking strangers for a few coins just to survive. Life had pushed me so low that I couldn’t even imagine finding dignity again.

Then, the owner of this restaurant called me in. Instead of turning me away, he asked me a simple question: “Do you want to work?”

That moment changed everything. I said yes — and today, I’m no longer a beggar, but a worker with respect. I wear this job with pride, because someone believed in me when I had stopped believing in myself.

But his kindness didn’t stop at a paycheck. At night, when the city sleeps, he lets me stay inside this café. The same place where I once asked for change is now my workplace, my shelter, my home.

I will never forget this chance. To me, it isn’t just a job — it is my second life. A gift of trust, dignity, and hope.
