Reporter Brian Glenn brags about DC being safe after walking streets with girlfriend Marjorie Taylor Greene
Brian Glenn, the chief White House correspondent of Real America’s Voice, praised President Trump’s crackdown on Washington, DC.
He made the comments on Monday, August 18, when Trump welcomed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for a high-stakes meeting about the war.
Glenn noted that DC felt safer because he walked around the city with his girlfriend, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.)
“I walked around yesterday with MTG. If you can walk around with DC with MTG, the city is safe,” he quipped.
Last week, Trump took control of DC’s police and deployed the National Guard to crackdown on crime in the nation’s capital.
On Saturday, nearly 70 people were arrested in DC.
Earlier in the high-stakes White House meeting, Glenn praised Zelensky’s attire.
“First, President Zelensky, you look fabulous in that suit. You look good,” Glenn said.
In February, Zelensky clashed with Trump and Vice President JD Vance at the White House. Glenn publicly chastised the Ukrainian leader for his attire during the chaotic meeting.
“I apologize to you. Look wonderful,” he added.
Zelensky joked, “It’s the same suit.”
The Oval Office erupted in laughter after the exchange.
