🍎💛 No kid should feel shame at lunch.
At just 8 years old, Cayden Taipalus watched a classmate be denied a hot meal—handed only a cold sandwich because his lunch account was in the negative.
That moment stuck with him.

When he got home, Cayden asked his mom, “Why can’t all kids eat the same lunch?”
Instead of just accepting the answer, he decided to change it.

With his mom’s help, he launched “Pay It Forward: No Kid Goes Hungry”—raising money to erase school lunch debt for children in need. He started by recycling cans, then opened a donation page.

The response? Over $14,000 raised.
More than 300 students had their lunch debt cleared.

Each dollar meant dignity.
Each meal meant kindness.

And Cayden didn’t stop there. He kept raising money, delivering checks alongside handwritten notes:
“From Cayden – so no kid goes hungry.”

“A small thing,” he said, “can turn out to be a big thing.”

He didn’t just pay for lunches.
He restored dignity.
He sparked a movement.
He showed us what compassion really looks like.
