After a gritty 8–6 win, the boys were headed back to the bus, still buzzing with post-match energy. Then they saw him — an elderly man, 81, quietly moving a heavy woodpile on his own.

No one said a word. They just walked over, gear still slung over their shoulders, and started helping. In under 20 minutes, the job was done.

No phones out. No need for praise. Just boys with muddy boots and good hearts, doing the right thing — simply because they could.

That’s the real victory.
