Yankees’ struggles aren’t dimming the optimism around them

Yankees people suddenly seem concerned about the team’s play. Even Aaron Boone suggested they needed to play better, a switch from his leaked “best team in the league” comment.

Some within the hierarchy are wondering how aggressive they should be with trades. But word remains: Owner Hal Steinbrenner isn’t giving up on this group.
