Last night I got to see Sarper doing stand-up! I had been meaning to go to one of his shows, but absolutely jumped at the chance to see him along with Nicole Byer who is a favorite comedian of mine. His set was exactly what you think it would be, lots of alpha male energy. Not sure I'd want to see a full show of him yet, but I applaud him for following through on this path. He was charming and energetic as a guest, while Nicole and Marcy did the heavy lifting of keeping the chat conversations going.
Shekinah was also there, in the audience, and I saw her as I was exiting.
Since I'm in LA, I also want to attend one of his Boot Laugh classes for a workout!
