I would like to share with you my masterpiece π€π₯° For a little background info: when I was 8 years old I fell head over heals in love with Disney’s Quasimodo from The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Fast forward to about 23 years later and 5 years ago, when me and my narcissistic ex finally broke up and I was slowly trying to get back to who I had been before she came along. I’d been crocheting for a while, mostly scarves and little dolls, and my therapist opted “why don’t you try something a bit bigger?”
It turns out she meant “why don’t you try some new, more complex patterns?” but my brain somehow turned that into “Why don’t you make a life-sized Disney character?”π
I’d like to share with you the result: my house-Quasiπ€ He’s technically still not finished because I haven’t figured out how to do his mouth yet and I still have to finish his pants/tights yet so he’s wearing my husband’s pajama pants – but other than that, he is definitely the biggest project I’ve ever worked on and I could never part with him.
