Hexagon temperature blanket.All inspired and starry-eyed, I decided to make one for my parents, whose 50 year anniversary is later this year.
I made many, many mistakes. I did things that made the overall process more time consuming. For example, I realized after the fact that I shouldn’t make individual rows because I created 900+ extra ends to weave in!
If you look closely, you’ll find plenty of mistakes. But isn’t that a reflection of marriage, parenting, life? It’s easy to find the mistakes. But don’t forget to enjoy the overall tapestry.
I’ve tried adding a border but it keeps rippling despite changing hooks. So I’m taking a week break. I may end up giving up on the border all together.
This is going into the pile of “I’m glad I did this but I’m never making this again.”
